Redevelopment of Queen Mary Hospital Phase 1 project has a construction floor area of approximately 126,877.52 square metres, which comprises the construction of a new hospital block at the north end of the hospital campus and 5 covered link bridges connecting the New Block with existing Block K of Queen Mary Hospital. The project also involves the demolition of Clinical Pathology Building (CPB), University Pathology Building (UPB), Houseman Quarters (HQ), existing link bridges connecting CPB and existing Block K, and other associated works.
