The Water Management Facilities Enhancement Project (WMFE) is to construct facilities including but not limited to water storage tanks and water recycling facilities for handling the water for the power generation process have to be enhanced to secure the operation of power generation at Castle Peak Power Station (CPPS). The project comprised of facilities for handling the water for the operation of power generation at CPPS including plant house of process water recycling facility, raft foundation for the new process water tank, new Fire Service (FS) water tank, modification of FS system for CPA, storm & piping works, partial de-commissioned West Coal Store and drainage modification works. In order to achieve the “zero discharge policy” and conversation of water at CPPS, the facilities including water storage tanks and drainage systems for handling the surface run-off due to rainfall have to be enhanced.
