The redevelopment of the Mills is a significant revitalisation project that turns former textile factories into a modern destination for innovation, culture and learning. The project involved comprehensive demolition, alteration, addition and restoration works. Unique historic features of the buildings including the painted walls, original staircase, pillars, plaster facades, the Golden Cup metal gate and the NF5 entry gate were preserved by teams of registered engineers and workers who were specially trained in heritage conservation.
