HIT Kwai Chung Container Port, Terminals 4, 6 & 7
This project involved the reconstruction of Terminals 4, 6 & 7 on a reclaimed site. It comprised construction of 100,000 square metres container stacks and runways, 4,500 linear metres rails for rail mounted gantry cranes, 11 reefer walkways, two switchrooms, three substations, roads, drainage, and the electrical and mechanical establishment to the terminal facilities. The phased construction works did not affect the general operation of the terminal.
