2008 Beijing Olympic Equestrian Events Core Venue

The Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) and Penfold Park were modified to provide an Olympic complex, main competition arenas, and training arena to accommodate the Dressage and Jumping events of the 2008 Olympics. The works comprised site formation including retaining wall construction, slope-works, underground drainage and irrigation system, as well as construction of a riverside walkway with timber decking, HKSI entrance, access roads, main competition arena, grandstand and landscaping.
