Paul Y. Engineering among First Batch of Hong Kong Contractors to Receive BIM Level 2 Certification


Paul Y. Engineering was recently certified as BIM Level 2 compliance by the British Standards Institution (BSI), the standards body of the United Kingdom. BSI sets out internationally reputed standards and regulations relating to products and services including construction engineering. BIM Level 2 certification is formulated to PAS1192-2:2013, BS1192:2007 and BS1192-4:2014 specifications which focus on information management for delivery phase of construction projects using BIM, the collaborative production of architectural, engineering and construction information as well as the information exchange requirement using COBie. Paul Y. Engineering is proud to be among the first batch of main contractors from Hong Kong to receive BIM Level 2 accreditation, solid proof that our Group meets international BIM technology and application best practices in the areas of personnel management, workflow, and information management.

A key example of our BIM Level 2 performance is the IE 2.0 Project A at Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate for Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. The development is set to be Hong Kong's first Data Technology Hub, an all-new infrastructural platform of digital, information and tele-communications technology.
