Paul Y. Engineering wins Architectural Services Department’s Green Contractor 2012 Gold Award 20122013-03-25
Paul Y. Engineering is honoured to receive the Green Contractor Gold Award 2012 for Construction of a Sub-divisional Fire Station with Ambulance Facility cum Urban Search and Rescue Equipment at Cheung Yip Street, Kowloon Bay. The project demonstrates Paul Y. Engineering’s longstanding commitment to environmental protection and a green corporate culture. By implementing a number of effective environmental measures, the project team was able to closely monitor air quality, water quality and noise levels at the construction site to minimize environmental impacts.
At the same event, Paul Y. Engineering also received a HKIA Annual Awards 2012 Merit award for work on the 30-classroom Primary School in Area 55, Tuen Mun project.
The Green Contractor Award Scheme was introduced in 2001 by the Architectural Services Department to encourage contractors to achieve high standards of environmental performance on construction sites.
